A spirit distilled from fermented red apples. The apples used are an ancient and extremely rare variety. We keep a few trees of this variety in our own garden and examples may still be found growing in the untended pastures surrounding our villages.
The apples are completely untreated. They are picked in October and processed using a precise formula that has been used for all of our distillates for over 150 years.
The product is distilled in our original wood-fired water bath alembic still, which preserves the distinctive qualities of these apples intact.
Alcohol content: 41.5 %
Serve at 12°C, in small tulip shaped glasses.
